Supermac’s Campaign

Supermac's Chemistry 48 sheet poster

For a recent college project we were given a relatively simple brief. Create a campaign for Supermac’s which distances them from the horse meat scandal and emphasises their homegrown quality and reminds consumers that all their burgers are 100% Irish beef.

For our campaign we wanted to steer clear of mentioning the horse meat scandal itself and instead concentrated on the unique Irish qualities of the brand. We wanted to play on the fact that some times you expect something to be Irish but there are other things that are a surprise. In Supermac’s case we wanted to show you can trust them to be Irish.

Our campaign thought centred around the idea of unexpected Irish inventions which are now commonplace. It is a simple idea but often the best ones are.
