Motion content has been shown to vastly outperform static when it comes to engaging customers on social channels. This is particularly true when your goal is acquisition.
We were asked to produce a series of videos for Super 6 leveraging their access to one of the biggest talents on Sky Sports, and a key ambassador for Super 6 in Jamie Carragher. With the goal of boosting acquisition numbers at a key time of year, the start of the Premier League season.
We designed the videos to be disruptive by taking the look and feel of user-generated content to make the viewer feel like Jamie is talking directly to them, as opposed to the slicker, more traditional video content you might associate with advertising. This channel native approach also allowed us to record a large number of variants, approx 26 different videos were produced from the scripts, in a short amount of time (we had around 90 minutes). This was all done on The Overlap set after recording was finished with a small crew of just myself, the copywriter, a producer and a phone. Then it went to our Video and Motion Graphics team to work their magic on it.
