Just as we were gearing up to work on World Cup 2026 the Paddy Power Games team came to us with an exciting brief. They were sponsoring Nobody’s Fool, a new 6-part gameshow on primetime ITV fronted by Danny Dyer, and wanted us to produce a set of idents.
It’s the kind of brief you can’t turn down so we got straight to work coming up with ideas and knocking out scripts. We landed on an idea based around the quiz pod featured in the show. Here Danny would quiz contestants, based loosely on those featured in the show. This allowed us to produce humourous vignettes that felt connected to Nobody’s Fool, but distinctive enough to be Paddy Power.
In all, we produced 13 idents ranging from 5 to 10 to 15 seconds depending on their placement in the broadcast. Our production partners in Irresistible Studios and director, Chip, did sterling work to capture these all in a single shoot day on specially constructed set.
And, as this was a Paddy Power job, we also found time to capture stills on set and on colorama to support the launch of a brand new free-to-play game released to coincide with the show.
